El douje also devotes much of his time to Fishtank, a lively and unusual ensemble of violin, accordion, flamenco guitar, shamisen, saw, and ethereal vocals. Flamenco, Swedish folk music, Klezmer, and original compositions and more appear in their varied set.

Within a few days of joining forces, the musicians of Fishtank played in show that landed them a record contract with Mimicry Records. Their first album will be out by 2005.
